During an employee forum, we learned that there may be
a problem with the flow of information within the City and
that not all messages are reaching employees at all

HR & Risk Team Updates
To keep employees informed on updates within the City’s Human
Resources (HR) and Risk Management departments, HR released an HR
Resources Staff Roles and Responsibilities memo that can also be found
on the HUB.
The memo includes staff roles, department business partners, and an
organization chart so employees know who to contact for help navigating
any question, suggestion, or concern while employed at the City of Denton.

Remote Work Follow-Up Survey
To City employees that have worked remotely due
to COVID-19, HR would like to hear from you! A
brief survey is now open related to employee’s
experiences working remotely over the past several
months. All survey responses are anonymous and
will be included in a final report. Employees are
encouraged to complete the survey today, the survey is scheduled to close
on Friday, Nov. 20.

NEOGOV Learning Management System
HR recently announced new improvements to the hiring, on-boarding, off-
boarding, and training processes through the Human Resources
Information System (HRIS), NEOGOV.
Employees are now able to sign-in to NEOGOV, using their Outlook
credentials, to complete training and development courses, submit
requisitions, post jobs, screen applicants, and hire candidates. You can
find more information and specific details about these updates here and on
the HR’s HUB page. For additional information related to NEOGOV,
