Definition: Responsible for continually observing slide activity of patrons and control access to slides to ensure their safety. Responsible for monitoring guest admission into Water
Works Parks.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for continually observing activities of patrons to ensure their safety
Monitors the slides and catch pool and surrounding area during period of operation; explains, clarifies, and enforces pool rules
Responsible for cleaning the pools, surrounding area and facilities
Administers first aid to guests as necessary
Additional Duties:
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications/Acceptable Equivalency:
Must be 16 years of age or older
Must have current American Red Cross Community First Aid
Core Competencies:
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to form and maintain effective relationships with coworkers and customers
Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
Conditions of Employment:
Must pass a drug test, criminal history background check, and social security verification check
Must be able to work the entire summer season
Preferences:
Bilingual in Spanish and English
CPR for the professional rescuer certification
