Definition: Responsible for providing direct support to the Human Resources Office staff.
Essential Functions:
• Assists HR Staff on special projects and preparation of materials
• Works directly with HR Staff on data entry
• Assists HR Staff in answering phone and greeting customers
Additional Duties:
• Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications / Acceptable Equivalency:
• Must be enrolled in High School or equivalent or a recent graduate
• Must be between the ages of 16 to 21 years of age

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to form and maintain effective relationships with coworkers and customers
• Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Ability to interact with customers professionally
• Ability to present a professional appearance
Conditions of Employment:
• Must be a resident of the City of Denton
• Must pass a drug test, criminal history background check, and social security number verification
check
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday (15-20 hours per week)
Preferences:
0 Knowledge of standard office programs, such as Microsoft Office.
