PARD Coordinator II - SA3001 - NATATORIUM Birthday Party Coordinator City of Denton Job Description Effective Date: 3/18/2013  Revision Date: 4/7/2017  Position ID:   Career Ladder: Seasonal  FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt   Title: PARD Coordinator II- Birthday Party Coordinator  Department/Division: Leisure Services  Reports to: Recreation Supervisor    Description Responsible for scheduling birthday parties, ordering and organizing supplies, coordinating work schedules, supervising birthday party staff, and supervising set-up and cleanup of party areas. Essential Functions Responsible for communication with patrons in order to assist with booking and taking payment for birthday party and cabana rentals Maintains appropriate records and reports as requested Assists Guest Services Supervisor in scheduling, supervising, and training staff for regular shifts and after hours rentals and events Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of reception and office area Assists Guest Services Supervisor with ordering and organizing birthday party supplies Responsible for working scheduled parties and events at Water Works Park and Denton Natatorium Greet guests and help bring in and store gifts Responsible for supervising and assisting with set up and clean up for booked parties Serve food and beverages to all party guests Maintains positive relationships with all employees and supervisors Follows established City of Denton policies and procedures Must have the ability to deal with guests in a courteous and professional manner Directs all guests to various areas throughout the Water Works Park, Denton Natatorium and Civic Center Pool Be able to attend all staff meetings and trainings  Additional Duties: Performs other duties as assigned Physical Requirements: Overall Strength Demands: The following describes the overall strength demand of the functions performed by the incumbent during a typical workday. functions performed by the incumbent during a typical workday.
