PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR

FOR THE CITY OF DENTON
Issue Date: December 27, 2018
Response due Date and Time (Central Time):

RFQ # 6919
ADDENDUM #1
The following are responses to the clarification questions received via
email:
1. On Page 7, Under 3. Firm Capacity, we would like clarification regarding the
request for “Description of completed projects similar to the proposed project.
Provide names, location of the projects, and telephone number of contacts.” The
next request in that section asks for “A listing of at least five references that have
knowledge concerning the firm’s qualifications.” Should the references be for the
same projects, or can they be for other projects/clients? It appears that
references are required in the description of completed projects since contact
names and phone numbers are requested.
You may list different references than the ones used for the similar projects. The
end users are interested in learning more about the firm’s experience on similar
projects. If additional references for non-similar projects are available, please
include them.
2. Page 8 of 21; REFERENCES: this item notes three references but there is place
for 5 references in Attachment D. How many references are required?
Correction: Five (5) references are required.
3. Page 8, Section 12 Schedule and Budget Compliance Schedule requests
schedules for two similar projects to be in Attachment C; however, the actual
Attachment C says this is not applicable. Could you confirm that Attachment C is
not applicable?
Please disregard the requirement shown on page 8, section 12. The requirement
is for construction design projects, which does not apply to this RFQ.
4. We would like confirmation that the page limit for the proposal is 200 pages.
The page limit has been reduced to 50 pages.
5. Page 9 of 21; Submission Format, item d: the order of submission noted in item
D does not match the Solicitation Checklist on Page 12 of 21. What order should
the documents be submitted?
Correction: Please use the order of submission shown on page 9 of 21, item a.
Submission Format.
The following are responses to the questions received during the Pre-
Submittal Conference held on Friday, December 21, 2018:
The gap analysis was performed by Tetra Tech Consulting firm.
Based on the SCADA Master Plan report prepared by the selected consultant
there will be ongoing projects over the next several years to upgrade the Water
Reclamation SCADA system.
All upgrade projects will be using the Wonderware System Platform. The City
desires to maximize the full capabilities of the platform.
All standards shall be developed by the contracted consulting firm under this
project. The City wishes to explore all possible options for the standards. If the
standards are not a part of this project, the firm needs to identify what will be
needed but will not be included in the standard development.
The estimated budget was provided in the RFQ to give an idea of the consultant
effort to complete the SCADA Master Plan Report.
NO OTHER CHANGES AT THIS TIME.
Please acknowledge addendum on Attachment F of the
main solicitation document when submitting a proposal.
