UTILITY BODIES FOR THE CITY OF DENTON
The scope of work shall be finalized upon the selection of the Firm. The respondent’s submission shall have accurately described your understanding of the objectives and scope of the
requested products and services and provided an outline of your process to implement the requirements of the Scope of Work and Services. It is anticipated that the scope of work will
include, at a minimum, the following:
SECTION A - UTILITY BODIES (KNAPHEIDE OR EQUIVALENT)
Bodies offered shall be current year model, White in color, consist of Knapheide standard factory configuration with the following included items. Installation will be included in pricing
for mounting to chassis provided by the City of Denton. It will be the responsibility of the City of Denton to provide the chassis vendor that will be supplying that chassis, and the
responsibility of the respondent to coordinate with that chassis vendor to expedite the process of mounting the body to the extent possible. Bids are to include standard factory warranty.
Items listed in the Options pricing tab of the pricing sheet (Exhibit 1) request pricing for alternative options. The City may choose to add any of these items to a corresponding base
body. If there are additional options that the respondent believes would be useful to the City of Denton please include them at the bottom of the Options pricing tab.

SECTION E – CHASSIS INSPECTION:
Upon receipt of a chassis for the City of Denton, the awarded vendor will inspect the chassis for any defects and send a completed copy of that report to the City of Denton.
That will be a requirement for before payment can be made for a chassis once it arrives at the awarded vendor location.
