Does this mean once the contract is awarded, the equipment should be delivered in 4-6 weeks? Yes, this timeline is flexible, within reason. 4-6 weeks is the standard time of delivery but we realized that if it’s a busy season, like spring, it may take a few weeks longer. If your projected delivery time is more than the 4-6 weeks requested by the Scope of Work, please provide this information in the schedule/timeline submittal. Please Note: Within the scoring criteria of the evaluation process the “Project Schedule” is set at 10% of the overall scoring. Extended delays in delivery could result in a lower score in this section. Regarding MLK Playground, which is to be installed after September 1, we would not expect the equipment to be delivered within 4-6 weeks just sit outside for months. 3. I see the budget for two of the parks is $290,000 but the Ridglea does not list a budget. Ridglea playground we have $175,500.00 and a total of $465,500.00 for all three playground. 4. I have looked through the bid documents and I don’t see any drawings or details for each park with the layout? Yes, all playgrounds vendors submit deigns (2 maximum) for each playground. This is standard. 5. Are there any CAD files for the parks, or site map that show the layout and any trees or objects that might be in the area? Or will the vendors need to go and measure each site and take pictures? No CAD files. Vendors have to go to the site anyways, as outlined in the SOW, to determine # of existing play activities that they must match or exceed with their designs. RFP 7020 - Question and Answers: 6. You mentioned the timeline of 4-6 weeks for delivery of equipment after the bid has been awarded. Ours is typically 8-10 weeks, will this be o.k.? Please see #2 13. We have worked with many cities and my question is would they be able to receive the equipment and provide a storage place or a stage place to carry out your projects. This would cut shipping cost. Several cities have worked with us to expedite the project faster and save a few dollars? Regarding receiving, please refer to scope of work, see below:  DELIVERY: Delivery should be approximately 4 to 6 weeks after notice to proceed. Vendor is responsible for offloading the truck and be present to inventory delivered components. Regarding storage: Parks & Recreation has an area at the Municipal Service Center, located at 901 Texas St., where you may offload and store the equipment. Vendor will be responsible for hauling equipment from storage area to project location RFP 7020 - Question and Answers: NOTE: The Scope of Work states that an independent (3rd Party) playground audit must be performed on finished products prior to acceptance by City of Denton. This is a requirement and must happen. Audit documents to be provided to Parks & Recreation Staff once completed and corrections from audit are made.
