VALVE AND THE INTERIOR FACE OF THE WETWELL TO ACCOMMODATE THE 2-DSP-SS
CHEMICAL FEED PIPES. THE CONTRACTOR MAY UTILIZE A TAPPING SADDLE WITH A
THREADED NIPPLE. A FULLY THREADED 2-INCH STAINLESS STEEL (TYPE 316SS) NIPPLE
WOULD BE USED TO PASS THROUGH THE TAPPING SADDLE SO THAT A THREADED TYPE
316SS FLANGE CAN BE INSTALLED ON EACH SIDE OF THE THREADED 316SS NIPPLE. THE
2-DSP-SS WILL THEN CONNECT TO THE NIPPLE THROUGH THE USE OF FLANGES. THE
CONTRACTOR MAY UTILIZE PIPE COUPLING METHODS OTHER THAN FLANGE (E.G.,
SWAGELOK) PROVIDED THE COUPLING METHOD IS SUITABLE FOR THE INTENDED
SERVICE.”

2. Modifications: Delete the callout “2-1/2” TAP WITH CORP. STOP TO ACCOMMODATE 2-
