This addendum forms part of the contract documents referenced above and modifies the original Contract
Documents. Acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and attaching it to the Contract Documents
(inside). Note receipt of the Addendum in the Bid Proposal and on the outer envelope of your bid.
CLARIFICATIONS
CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS
Below is a summary of significant or repetitive questions received:
·Details 2 and 4 on Sheet 36 vary in requirements of #2 and #10 AWG HMWPE wire for the
white project pipeline test leads and green foreign pipeline test leads. Please clarify which size
wire should be used.
o #2 AWG HMWPE wire is required for both white and green test leads.
·Section 26 05 03, Article 1.07.E indicates qualified and acceptable electrical subcontractors
which will be permitted to work on this project. Will other electrical subcontractors be
permitted?
o Contractor will be required to use one of the firms on the existing subcontractor list.
SPECIFICATIONS
·Specification 00 21 13 – Instructions to Bidders
o MODIFY Paragraph 13.3 as follows:
13.3 Bids shall be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form, provided with the Bidding Documents,
at the time and place indicated in the Advertisement or INVITATION TO BIDDERS, and
shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope, marked with the Bid Number, Project title,
the name and address of Bidder, and accompanied by the Bid security and other required
documents, as indicated in Section 00 41 00 – Bid Form. If the Bid is sent through the mail
or other delivery system, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate envelope with
the notation "BID ENCLOSED" on the face of it. Hard copy submissions shall also
include a flash drive, containing a complete copy of the response, and be addressed as
follows:

All other provisions of the contract documents, plans and specifications shall remain unchanged.
Failure to return a signed copy of the addendum with the Proposal shall be grounds for rendering the bid
non-responsive. A signed copy of this addendum shall be placed into the Proposal at the time of bid
submittal.
