ADDENDUM NO. 1

This addendum shall be a part of the Plans, Contract Documents and Specifications to the same extent as
though it were originally included therein, and it shall supersede anything contained in the Plans, Contract
Documents, and Specifications with which it might conflict. This Addendum No. 1, including all attachments
shall become part of the Contract and all provisions of the Contract shall apply thereto, with exception to
the items listed under “Other Project Information” at the end of this Addendum No. 1, which are supplements
provided for the Contractor’s convenience. The time provided for completion of the Contract has not been
changed as noted in this addendum. Acknowledgement of receipt of this Addendum must be noted in the
appropriate section of the Bid Form and included with the Contract Documents.
A. SPECIFICATIONS - Volumes 1 & 2
1. Revise Specification Section 00 21 13 – INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS paragraph 6.1 as
follows:
a. “All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be
directed to City in writing on or before 2 p.m., the Thursday prior to the Bid opening 5
p.m. on July 9th.”
B. STANDARD DETAILS - Volume 3
1. No items for Volume 3 are included in Addendum No. 1
C. DRAWINGS - Volume 4
1. No items for Volume 4 are included in Addendum No. 1

D. OTHER PROJECT INFORMATION
1. The pre-bid sign in sheet was requested by multiple bidders, and has been attached to this
addendum.
2. Geotechnical report dated March 15, 2019, prepared by ETTL Engineers and Consultants,
Inc 1717 East Erwin Street Tyler, Texas 75702. Entitled “Lake Lewisville Water Treatment
Plant Dewatering Improvements, Denton, Texas, Geotechnical Investigation, ETTL Job No.
G5069-1812”. This report is provided only for the Contractor’s convenience; this report and its
inclusive drawings are not Contract Documents.
3. No other project information is included in Addendum No. 1.
