OPGW Transmission Conductors-5030-AmendmentNew Coil Bracket
1
Disadvantages with the Old Style!
Steel design is heavy requiring 2 people for installation.
Shipping pre-assembled created a lot of transit damage due to unit overhang on standard pallets.
No banding slot.
Difficult
to maintain package configuration during transit due inability to nest material involving large orders.
Over 150 units had transit damage in 2014
Difficult to stabilize shipment
2
Coil Bracket Pole Hanging
Made in-house of aluminum components instead of welded steel assembly
¼ weight of the “OLD” steel assembly
3 pcs instead of one unit allows the material to be nested into a box, which
reduces the chance of shipping damage
Stainless steel hardware for joining two crossbars to body extrusion
Banding slots have been added
Same mounting points as original
3
New Packaging
Three piece construction provides compact box packaging
No parts exposed to transit damage
