7420 - Contractor Minimum Qualifications1.04 CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS
A. The Contractor or Subcontractor shall submit documentation that demonstrates at least four projects within the last 5 years performing the following elements of work:
1. Installation of large transmission (69kV and above) electrical duct banks with multiple electrical 6 inch PVC conduits and spacers.
2. Experience in field bending 6 inch PVC conduit.
B. For each project that meets the above criteria, provide the following:
1. Title and description of work including voltage, cable construction, conduit length and size, number and size of electrical vaults, and the year the work was completed.
2. Contractor’s responsibility on the project (such as Prime Contractor or Subcontractor).
3. Name, address, and contact phone number of project owner and owner’s representative.
C. The Contractor shall submit resumes of key field personnel and positions to which they
may be assigned to the project. Key field personnel are superintendents, foremen, conduit installers, and qualified and trained electrical workers. The resumes shall include the following:
1. Employee information
a. Legal first and last names. b. Present positions or capacities
c. Number of years in the role assigned for this project that are consistent with the elements of work as described above. For superintendents and foremen, the minimum years of experience in the assigned role shall be 5 calendar years. For installers and qualified and trained electrical workers, the minimum years of experience in the assigned role shall be 2 calendar years.
2. For each project referenced in the resumes that meet the criteria above, provide the following:
a. Employer(s) address and contact phone number. b. Title and description of work including the duration on the project. c. Name, address, and contact phone number of project owner and owner’s representative.
d. Letters of satisfaction from utilities/owners of the projects.
D. Contractors not meeting these minimum experience requirements will not be approved to perform the work.
