ADDENDUM NO. 3
Plans and specifications for the Exterior Repaint of the .S. 380 Transmission Mains - PROJECT No. PMO 880010
and the Scripture Street Transmission Main- PROJECT No. PMO 880011, for the City of Denton Texas, on which
bids are to be received until 11:00 am., Tuesday, October 20, 2020, are hereby modified as follows:
1) REFER TO U.S. 380 Transmission Main CONSTRUCTION PLAN SHEET No. 5 marked Addendum No. 3,
dated 10-14-2020 in the lower right-hand corner as attached hereto:
a) The City of Denton desires to abandon the 900 service level 12-inch water line crossing the proposed 20-
inch transmission main near station 4+21. The plan sheet is revised to include new pay item 122.A1 to
facilitate this work.
2) REFER TO U.S. 380 Transmission Main CONSTRUCTION PLAN SHEET No. 11 marked Addendum No. 3,
dated 10-14-2020 in the lower right-hand corner as attached hereto
a) The City of Denton desires to abandon the 900-service level 12-inch water line connected to the existing 16-
inch 900 Service Leve water main near station 20+21. The plan sheet is revised to include new pay item
217.A1 to facilitate this work.
3) Refer to the PROJECT MANUAL for the CONSTRUCTION OF Bid No. 7460 – U.S. 380 Transmission
Mains -Project No. PMO 880010 and Scripture Street Transmission Main – Project No. PMO 880011
a) Replace the BID PROPOSAL Pages 1 of 4 and 2 of 4 in their entirety with the BID PROPOSAL Pages 1 of
4 and 2 of 4 “Addendum No. 3 in the footer of the sheet as attached hereto..
i) The Proposal Schedule has been modified to add new Pay Items 122.A1 and 217.A1 to facilitate the
added scope of work shown on U.S. 380 Transmission Mains plans sheets 5 and 11, marked Addendum
No. 3 dated 10-14-2020.
4) Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of Addendum No. 3 in the space provided in the Proposal.
