Altec Repair Scope of WorkRFP 7470 – ALTEC AERIAL REPAIRS
SCOPE OF WORK - STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS
Vendor/contractor will provide maintenance and repair services for the all of the City’s
Altec branded aerial bucket trucks and digger derrick fleet of approximately 35 units.
Most services are required to be performed on-site within the Denton City Limits.
Maintenance and repair should include but is not limited to:
• Preventative Maintenance
• Diagnostics
• Electrical controls
• Repair of hydraulic circuits, hoses, valves, cylinders, pumps, motors
• Bucket/platform repair
• Fiberglass/gelcoat repair
• Annual Safety Inspection/Dielectric Testing
• Dielectric testing of hot stick tools, accessories and PPE
Additional requirements:
• Ability to repair equipment on-site or at nearest vendor location
• Ability to provide Altec factory trained technicians
• Ability to source and provide OEM Altec parts as needed to complete repairs
Vendor/contractor shall be responsible for providing an appropriate level of field service
(truck/technicians) to respond to requests for service within 48 hours.
Vendor/contractor shall be responsible for responding to requests for service with a field
service technician fully equipped with the appropriate tools and equipment necessary to
support all aspects of vehicle/equipment inspection, maintenance, repair and annual
dielectric certification testing as outlined in the scope of work.
Vendor/contractor’s equipment, services and technicians are to comply with all Federal,
State, OSHA, and Local applicable regulatory requirements.
