Thank you for the opportunity to assist the City of Denton with the 12/31/2020-21 Excess Casualty
insurance policy renewal.
After the coverage being taken to market during the 2019-20 term, Lockton submitted to the
incumbent, Argonaut Insurance Company, for the 2020-21 term. Argonaut Insurance Company has
submitted the most competitive quote of $237,897. This is a 0.13% increase ($314) compared to the
expiring program, in the current state of the market this is an exceptionally great option for the City
of Denton.
Lockton recommends the City renew its Excess Casualty Insurance with Argonaut Insurance
Company, Excluding Terrorism Coverage, for a total annual premium of $237,897.
