SCOPE OF WORK - STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS
The City of Denton purchases approximately 10 trailers annually of varying types and
size. The average annual spend is estimated at $62,500. The City of Denton is looking
to select a vendor/contractor that can provide heavy duty trailers with capacities ranging
from 3,000lbs to 110,000lbs with the following specific examples:
Trailer offerings should consist of, but not be limited to:
Single axle utility
Single axle flatbed
Single axle enclosed
Tandem axle utility
Tandem axle flatbed
Tandem axle enclosed
Tandem axle dump
Tilt bed trailers
Gooseneck trailers
Lowboy trailers
Additional services and options:
Accessories
o Lighting and wiring
o Loading ramps/spring assists
o Decking materials
o Tie down rings
o Stake pockets
o Extended tongue or deck lengths

Delivery of new trailers
Price sheet is representative of the types and sizes of trailers most often purchased but
is not all inclusive. Trailers supplied must be current year new units in excellent physical
and operational condition.
Vendor/contractor’s equipment to be compliant with all Federal, State, and Local DOT
applicable regulatory requirements.
