Recommendation
•Staff recommends awarding a contract with Black and Veatch Corporation for
professional engineering services for three (3) years, with the option for two
(2) additional one (1) year extensions, in the total five (5) year not to exceed
amount of $4,244,870.84.
•The contract does not obligate DME to expend the entire contract amount,
not does it require any minimum expenditure.
•A majority of the contracted services are recoverable through the Public
Utility Commission (PUC) Transmission Cost of Services (TCOS) Program.
