3.0 GIS Data Creation and Cleanup for Sidewalks and ADA Ramps
NewEdge Services, LLC will work with the City of Denton to review existing project
methodology developed to update the existing sidewalk and ADA ramp data within
the City’s GIS. The project will involve, utilizing Nearmap imagery to update the
spatial location of existing features, add missing features, correctly split features /
assign unique IDs, and ensure the correct condition and attribute information is
associated with the features. The City estimates approximately 6,431 sidewalk
segments and 5,759 ADA ramps need to be created.
