Per our discussion today, I’ve put together 2 spreadsheets covering all known/anƟcipated Change Requests.
1. InstallaƟon of porches at riser poles
2. AddiƟonal pull box material and installaƟon based on distribuƟon clarificaƟons
3. AddiƟonal engineering and material to add Owner-supplied transformer outside of Screen Wall as power source
for street lights
4. Parking lot repair requested by apartment owner
5. Credit for distribuƟon materials that may be provided by DME
6. Redesign of distribuƟon due to City delays in easement acquisiƟon
7. AddiƟonal credit for pole mounted transformer
As noted in the spreadsheets, Beta does not currently have an esƟmate on the impact of the distribuƟon redesign. This
is pending Schneider Engineering’s sketch, DME approval, City approval, and the necessary supplier/subcontractor
quotes to determine the financial impact of the change.
We are also awaiƟng addiƟonal informaƟon from Schneider Engineering to proceed with the request for the pole
mounted transformer.
In the spreadsheet Ɵtled “B661_20230822 Change Request_Proposed”, I’ve highlighted in green which Change Requests
I’d suggest we move forward with at this Ɵme. These changes include:
• InstallaƟon of porches at riser poles
• AddiƟonal engineering and material to add Owner-supplied transformer outside of Screen Wall as power
source for street lights
• Credit for distribuƟon materials that may be provided by DME
a. Please note that we are sƟll waiƟng for Schneider Engineering’s confirmaƟon on the nameplates
The net impact to the contract value for these 3 changes would be $940.13 in DME’s favor. Please let me know if I can
put together the formal paperwork for approval.

In addition to the pull boxes that Kingsley needs, I was wondering if DME happened to have (3) junction boxes per the
detail below for the distribution scope that Beta could purchase.
We’re also looking at options for single phase transformer (50kVA, 120/240V) and three phase transformer (300kVA,
120/240) called out in Schnieder’s drawing and the associated pads. Does DME have this material?
As you suggested, Beta would put together a change request showing a billing line item that is a credit back to DME for
the purchase.

Denton uses the following standard for the junction box. I do not have their approved manufacturers for their
warehouse numbers, but I am sure they can provide it to us. Or they might be willing to provide the equipment, which
is what I thought was happening for some of this equipment such as the service transformers, etc.
