Exhibit 1 - Agenda Information SheetCity of Denton _____________________________________________________________________________________ AGENDA INFORMATION SHEET DEPARTMENT: Procurement ACM: Cassey Ogden DATE: September 17, 2024 SUBJECT Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation, authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with DLT Solutions, LLC, through the Department of Information Resources (DIR) Cooperative Contract No. DIR-TSO-4236, for the acquisition of various applications, software as a service, licenses, subscriptions, and related services for the Technology Services Department; providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (File 8622 – awarded to DLT Solutions, LLC, in the five (5) year not-to-exceed amount of $675,000.00). STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT This action supports Key Focus Area: Enhance Infrastructure and Mobility. INFORMATION/BACKGROUND The City of Denton uses the AutoCAD Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Collection Software system to allow designers, architects, engineers, and construction professionals to create precise 2D and 3D drawings. This provides the following benefits: design and building of roadways, water, and wastewater systems, and electrical wiring systems; creation of high-quality cloud collaboration with the design team; high-performance building and infrastructure designs with conceptual and detailed design tools; optimization of projects with integrated analysis; generative design visualization and simulation tools; and predictability in the field with tools that maximize constructability and project coordination. The City of Denton Water and Wastewater Departments use AutoDesk applications such as InfoWater Pro, InfoWorks ICM, and Info360Asset in conjunction with the AutoCAD suite of products. They provide additional design and function to the water and wastewater specific design needs. The applications provide for the representation of water and wastewater asset conditions, risk, and performance and integrate into current GIS information. PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS) On January 28, 2020, City Council approved the interlocal agreement with the Texas Department of Information Resources Purchasing Network (Ordinance 20-196). RECOMMENDATION Award a contract with DLT Solutions, LLC, for the acquisition of various applications, software as a service, licenses, subscriptions, and related services for the Technology Services Department, in a five (5) year not-to-exceed amount of $675,000. PRINCIPAL PLACE OF BUSINESS DLT Solutions, LLC Herndon, VA ESTIMATED SCHEDULE OF PROJECT This is a five (5) year contract. This DIR contract expires on October 18, 2025. FISCAL INFORMATION These items and services will be funded through Technology Services operating budget 830400.7804 and the department’s budget. Requisitions will be entered on an as-needed basis. The budgeted amount for this item is $675,000.
