•The City of Denton Fleet Services Department repairs, maintains, and purchases various types of Refuse Trucks, Construction
Equipment,and Utility vehicles.
•Refuse trucks are essential to the Solid Waste Department’s operations, providing waste collection services for both residents
and commercial properties, including trash, recycling, and yard waste.
•The proposed contract supports the repair, maintenance, and acquisition of various refuse trucks and specialized utility vehicles
for City services.
•The repair services allowed by the contract provide diagnostic services and technical expertise to maintain vehicle performance
for departments like Solid Waste, Electric, and Fire.
•All vehicle and equipment acquisitions will be processed through the City’s budgeting processes.
•The City will only pay for services rendered and is not obligated to pay the full contract amount unless needed.
