The scope of work shall be finalized upon the selection of the Firm. The respondent’s submission
shall have accurately described your understanding of the objectives and scope of the requested
products and services and provided an outline of your process to implement the requirements of the
Scope of Work and Services. It is anticipated that the scope of work will include, at a minimum,
the following:
This invitation for bids is for the purchase of controllers, parts and accessories listed in the
accompanying price sheet. Equipment must have battery backup and be capable of operation
during power outages and must be possess the ability to be monitored and activated remotely.
Additional costs such as software licenses, maintenance fees and staff training must be disclosed
during the bidding process.
Specifications:
1. Product or Service needed
a. Parks is seeking bids for irrigation controllers, controller parts and accessories. The
list of items to be quoted can be found within the line items tab in Ionwave.
2. Mandatory requirements
a. Equipment quoted must be the same make and model as listed in the line items,
substitutes or alternatives are not allowed.
b. Bidders must have equipment and parts readily available and ready for pick up or
shipment within 10 business days of ordering.
c. Bidders will be responsible for all radio programming for proper operation with
existing City equipment.
d. Bidder will be responsible for programming new equipment and maintaining an
inventory of existing controllers and assigning new equipment
e. Bidder must provide training to staff for routine maintenance and the operation of
accompanying software
3. Warranty
a. Equipment must possess a warranty of no less than 1 year for all labor and parts
