•The City of Denton Fleet Services Department purchases, repairs, and maintains various types of heavy-duty equipment utilized
by departments, including Solid Waste, Streets, and Wastewater, that supports City’s services, such as street cleaning and
maintenance, refuse pick up, debris removal, and water line flushing.
•The repair services provided by this contract ensure that assets requiring specialized diagnostic equipment and technical
knowledge remain operational.
•All vehicle and equipment acquisitions will be processed through the City’s budgeting processes.
•The City will only pay for services rendered and is not obligated to pay the full contract amount unless needed.
