Addendum #1 to be returned with IFB Proposal
1. The following is removed from the 6547-0 Main document, bullet 1
(page 4) and IFB requirements:
To be considered, contractor must include an accept able bid bond, cashier’s check,
or certified check in an amount not less than 5% of the total submission or
$15,000, whichever is less. All submissions received without the above will be
rejected and considered non-responsive. ONLY HARD COPY BONDS WILL BE
ACCEPTED AND MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE CITY BEFORE THE DUE DATE AND TIME ON
THE COVER SHEET.
There will be NO bid bond requirements for this IFB.
2. I am including the questions that have been asked and answered per
the department.
3. Plus the revised 6547-1 Pricing sheet that needs to be turned in with
your proposal.

IFB # 6547-CONCRETE REPAIR SERVICES: (QUESTIONS/ANSWERS)
1. Should item #52 St. Augustine Sod be changed from CY to SY? Yes, this
should be SY
2. Do you have current standard detail sheets available from Engineering
for bid items that may differ from NTCOG specifications? Yes, we have
detail sheets other than NTCOG
3. What kind of structures are we building for items 38, 39 & 40, or are
these to be priced to furnish concrete materials only as I interpret items
74-77 to be?
Items 38, 39, and 40 are retaining walls, headwalls, and piers
Items 74-77 are flow able fill, grouting rip rap in drainage channel bottoms
4. Is there an engineer’s estimate for this project?
We don’t not have that estimate
5. How can I obtain the standard details sheets that apply to this IFB? The
City of Denton Detail Sheets are on the website under the Transportation
Manual.
6. Should items 14 through 17 (shown above) be 6” concrete sidewalk with
“steel”? Yes with Steel. 8’’ or less will have number 3 rebar on 18’’
centers. Greater than 8”’ will have number 4 rebar on 18’’ centers.
