1. Can I get a list of Attendees for the Prebid Conference?
Yes, please see attached.
2a) We would like to understand the integrations with any upstream or downstream
systems. Are those 3rd party integrations taken care by COD IT or part of this technical
upgrade?
Most of our integrations are pushing and pulling of Flat files. Internally we have
database connections into third party software.
Integrations or interfaces will be handled by COD
2b) Can you please share as-is architectural diagram showing all these integration points.
Current integration are via windows 2012 R2 server. Most are launched windows
Scheduled tasks, and the scripts are a mixture of PL/SQL, bat files and power shell
3a) Please provide details of existing customizations / standard JDE object
customization?
Sales order P564210 - copy and modify of "P4210" where we have added the account
number.
3b) Are there any pain areas/limitations in existing objects, which need to be resolved by
new JDE E1 9.2 System?
We are not addressing any changes at this time outside of those specified in the SOW
(Mobility Gateway, Up to 5 Role based UXONE instances.
4. Can you please provide the number of RICE (reports, interfaces, conversions, and
enhancements) components for our effort estimate?
Answer not available at time of publishing.
5a). Is security redesign a part of the upgrade project?
No
5b). What is the current access protocol?
On site, unsure of this question.

6. Is migrating entire data of 9.1 is in scope or is there any cutoff to number of years of
data migrated?
We are planning to do data clean up and archive prior to migration.
7. Is BI Publisher being currently used? If not, is there an interest to review it for your
needs in future?
a) No.
b) Not planned at this time.
8. Is the City of Denton concerned about offshoring (we do not do that) but more
importantly maybe having data leave the US and go offshore?
We will not be offshoring data, prefer resources on site.
9. Having trouble finding section 2 - of RFP #6592 Exhibit 1 A, "The contractor may also
list additional services in Section 2 that may be beneficial to the requested services".
I believe this is talking about the Specifications listed on Tab B, “Additional Required
Info B” of Exhibit 1 workbook.
If not, under “Respondent A”, of Exhibit 1Workbook, there is a section labeled
Alternative Fixed Costs Proposal.
10. How many modified objects in JDE which need to be retrofit from 9.1 to 9.2?
One.
11. Do you want a price quote on development retrofits?
Retrofits would be priced separately.
12a). How many interfaces are connected to JDE?

13. We have reviewed the document and the only question I have is that one of the
“project assumptions” is that the partner must be a minimum Platinum Oracle Partner.
We are a Gold Oracle Partner. Will we still be allowed to participate?
We are removing the Platinum Level Partner requirement – Silver Level is the new
requirement based on the services we are looking for.
14. 15. Is this RFP for time and materials or just Services?
Both.
16. Per Notes, it says Sheree is removing Oracle partner? Making it a silver
partner?
We are removing the Platinum Level Partner requirement – Silver Level is the new
requirement based on the services we are looking for.
17. What are we looking for in Services? Someone to partner with expertise to work
alongside our engineer?
Yes – we are looking for experienced JDE talent to work hands on with our team. The
SME would be the technical expert, guiding the team on the activities and working
alongside them.
18. How many licenses are you planning?
Do not understand the relevancy.
