C.S.T RFP # 6992 ADDENDUM # 1 Bid dues date has been revised from April 02, 2019 to Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. CST. Following are responses to the questions asked by potential vendors during the pre-submittal conference: Q1. What is the main objective of this system? Are you thinking of a complete IOT internet cell based system? R1. Main objective is to control street lights with the option of using GPS enabled units, City is not interested in an IOT system. Q2. Please give us details of the fixtures required meaning cobra heads and/or Decorative and please confirm quantities? R2. Please see details of the required luminaries posted in RFP 6991 on our web site and please refer to the revised pricing sheet for RFP 6992 (Attached) Q3. Will the city allow a control without a solar cell? What additional documentation is needed to validate the product? R3. Even though the RFP calls for an integrated Photocell, yet; we are willing to consider the photocell-less control node.  Please submit additional documentation detailing method of operation. Q4. Will the city upgrade all the old decorative streetlights to allow controls with NEMA connections? R4. Yes, City has plans for that. Q5. Will the quote document include 480 volt controls that are needed for the highways? R5. Yes, Per RFP COD has requested operating voltage range of 120-480V, and COD owns/maintains about 500 480v lights.  Q6. Will the quote document reflect 10 years of service to include an annual cost for hosting? R6. Yes. The unit pricing shall include 10 years of service with annual cost for hosting. Q7. Does the city want a quote for both a vendor hosted and a DME hosted central management system? R8. Yes, City would like to compare both a vendor and DME hosted system Q8. Will the city provide a GIS file with the location of the streetlights? If yes, please provide any details available as this will allow us to create an accurate network capacity plan identifying the location and exact number of base stations. R8. Yes, please review attached file. Q9. Who is the AMI provider for the city? R9. Trilliant is the AMI provider Q10. Will the CMS operate independently as a stand-alone software program?  R10. Yes, it will operate as a stand alone Q11. How long before a decision is made? Will there be additional interviews and negotiations?  R11. City cannot commit to a timeline since evaluations of this technical nature tends to take longer than planned. Additional interviews, demos and negotiations shall be required before final determination is made. Q12. Will Vendors be able to include sales to Investor Owned Utilities, IOUs, and cities as references?  R12. Yes, vendors will be able to include above through this RFP. Q13. Will Vendors be allowed to provide additional documentation to support our responses? R13. Yes, vendors are encouraged to submit additional documentation Q14. What security protocols are in place with the city regarding software? R14. Security protocols will be discussed with the winning bidder.  NO OTHER CHANGES AT THIS TIME. Please acknowledge addendum on Attachment F of the main solicitation document when submitting a proposal.
