ADDENDUM # 1
Bid dues date has been revised from April 25, 2019 to Tuesday, April 30,
2019 at 11:00 A.M. CST.
Following are responses to the questions asked by potential vendors:
Q1. In section 8- Pricing Adjustments, there are several different NYME pricing
indexes. What indexes will we base pricing on? Because there is more to the base oil
pricing, transportation and additives being a part of the cost that is not supported in the
Index Pricing, Would supporting documentation from the manufacturer and industry
news work?
R1. We acknowledge that Oil pricing is subject to various variables, City will negotiate
with the contractor at times of increases in good faith during term of the contract and will
consider variables e.g. documentation from manufacture stating the increase reason,
additives, transportation and will review all available information in relation to the crude
pricing quote on multiple exchanges at the prevailing time. E.g. NYMEX as provided by
CME group. An example of same is given below. City reserve the final right to agree or
reject the price increases.
