7132 Scope of Work- The scope of work shall be finalized upon the selection of the Firm. The respondent’s submission shall have accurately described your understanding of the objectives and scope of the requested products and services and provided an outline of your process to implement the requirements of the Scope of Work and Services. It is anticipated that the scope of work will include, at a minimum, the following: The proposal shall include all of the following information. Failure to include all of the required information may result in disqualification of a vendor. A. PURPOSE: The intent of this document is to provide interested vendors with sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit proposals for consideration by the City of Denton for Fabrication and Welding Services for various City Buildings and properties on an as needed basis to assist the City of Denton with repairs, retrofitting, construction, and custom fabrication on facilities and projects primarily consisting of metal fabrication. The scope of services is to include but not limited to the following: Welding and Fabrication Services: Construction of wrought iron/ornamental fences and gates (powder coat as needed) Welding repairs or expansions of metal awnings, roofs, or walls. Fabrication of steel parts/weldments necessary to complete the project Welding and fabrication of structural body systems to include: Garage Doors Canopies Awnings Ornamental Gates and Fences (Triad Finials or similar) Metal Buildings and Frames Design and fabrication of requested components and parts SCOPE OF SERVICES: A typical project will include the following: Review and determine required repairs Provide a written quote for material and labor costs Review of quotes and materials with City staff Provide estimated project completion dates
