7208 Rental of Vans - Scope of Work
The scope of work shall be finalized upon the selection of the Firm. The respondent’s submission shall have accurately described your understanding of the objectives and scope of the
requested products and services and provided an outline of your process to implement the requirements of the Scope of Work and Services. It is anticipated that the scope of work will
include, at a minimum, the following:
15-PASSENGER VANS:
Vans must be available for Summer Camp the following dates:
May 22, 2020 - August 14, 2020
June 1, 2021 - August 13, 2021
May 31, 2022 - August 12, 2022
May 30, 2023 - August 11, 2023
May 28, 2024 - August 9, 2024
Vans must be available for Spring Break the following dates:
March 9 – 16, 2020
March 8 – 15, 2021
March 7 – 14, 2022
March 6 – 13, 2023
March 11 – 18, 2024
Must be no more than two (2) years old with less than 30,000 miles on odometer
Must have working seatbelts
Must have air conditioning
AM/FM Radio
Mileage should be either 3,000 miles per month or unlimited
The City requires an exemption of rental policy requiring drivers to be 25 years of age or older.
Color to be white with no markings or advertisements
Vans must be delivered to the Civic Center during the 3rd week of May and picked up at the Civic Center no earlier than second week of August.
If vans are returned earlier than the second week of August, rental fees will terminate immediately on the returned van.
All vans need to have current inspection/registration stickers and recent oil changes.
In the event of maintenance is needed, a loaner 15-passenger van will be provided.
All City Van drivers must complete the following:
Must have a valid Class "C" Driver's License prior to employment
Must pass a drug test, driver's license check, social security verification, and criminal history background check
Must be able to obtain Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED and First Aid and Defensive Driving certificates before operating the vans.
Complete an 8-hour driving class taught by our Risk Management staff that is specific to driving 15 passenger vans and complete a driving obstacle course.
