ADDENDUM #1 – Response Submission Extended and City Response
to Vendor Questions

RFP 7052 City Response to Vendor Questions
1. If the city requires a “sealed submission”, is an email submission still an
option for vendors? (Page 6 of the RFP indicates that email submissions are
acceptable.)

2. Regarding Section 9 Cooperative Purchasing/Piggyback Option, will
Offerors be permitted an opportunity to confirm/update their pricing in the
event that other Texas governmental entities are interested in using this
contract?”
Yes
3. The RFP states that the contract term will be “one (1) year with option
periods”, but the EXHIBIT 3 document (page 1, second paragraph under
“1.Purpose”) states that “The Contract shall be in effect for an initial term of
twenty four (24) months, after this initial term, the Contract may then be
extended thereafter for up to three (3) additional twelve (12) month options”.
For pricing purposes, would the city like vendors to price out 2 full years or
1 year? And also price subsequent option years?
The contract term will be one (1) year, effective from date of award. The
City and the Supplier shall have the option to renew this contract for an
additional four (4) one-year periods.
Price as follows: Year 1 with the option to renew additional four (4)
one-year periods.
4. By capitalizing “Owner” please clarify/confirm that the City is asking
about litigation arising from public entity (government) contracts only.
The City is asking about litigation involving your company and the
Owner on a contract within the last five years under your current
company name or any other company name for public and private
contracts.
Please acknowledge addendum on Attachment F of the
main solicitation document when submitting a proposal.
