SUBJECT: Clarification to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) #7480 for Real Estate Acquisition
and Relocation Services
The City of Denton (City) wishes to clarify the intent of RFQ # 7480 for Real Estate Acquisition
and Relocation Services. The purpose of the RFQ is to establish a pre-qualified list of firms
who have demonstrated competence, qualifications, and have knowledge and experience to
perform real estate acquisition and relocation services for the City of Denton as a public agency
with eminent domain authority. After approval of the pre-qualified list, firms on the eligibility list
will be ranked and selected per proposal request based on availability, expertise, work load, and/or
any other factors relevant to each project.
Deliverables and specific project scopes will be determined in writing for each project awarded
under this RFQ. The City desires to have the ability to award an unspecified number of contracts
over the next three years.
The City reserves the right to select and use individual firms with indefinite quantity, and no work
is guaranteed. The number of projected individual contracts and total value over the next two to
three years is presently unknown.
