City of Denton Public Disposal Facility (PDF)
•Located City of Denton Landfill
•The purpose of PDF is provide a safer
environment for residents to dispose of
material at the landfill by separating their
vehicles commercial waste collection vehicles,
landfill heavy equipment, and auxiliary
landfill/construction heavy equipment.
•The current PDF is located within the foot print
of the next landfill cell which is currently under
construction and is due to be completed

Work to be completed
•The PDF will be an approximate 243,000 square feet
•Construction includes earthwork, concrete roads, ramps, pads,
support pillars, metal structure and supports.
•Effluent water supply for water monitors, hose reel, and irrigation
•Electric supply for street lights, structure lights, barrier gates, signs
•20 feet tall litter control fences
•Automatic barrier gates, jersey barriers (K-Rails), bollards
•Proper signage and pavement striping
