SUBJECT
Consider adoption of an ordinance of the City of Denton, a Texas home-rule municipal corporation,
authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with Lowe’s Home Centers, LLC, through the Omnia
Partners Cooperative Purchasing Network Contract # R192006, for procurement fulfillment of
Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) Supplies and Related Services for the City of Denton;
providing for the expenditure of funds therefor; and providing an effective date (File 8184 – awarded to
Lowe’s Home Centers, LLC, in the five (5) year not-to-exceed amount of $1,000,000.00).
INFORMATION/BACKGROUND
Lowe’s Home Centers, LLC offers dedicated industry experts who can work with the City directly on
projects through the Omnia Partners Cooperative Purchasing Network contract.

Pricing obtained through the Omnia Partners Cooperative Purchasing Network has been competitively bid
and meets the statutory requirements of Texas Local Government Code 271.102.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On September 14, 2021, Council approved the interlocal agreement with Omnia Partners (Ordinance 21-
1842).
RECOMMENDATION
Award a contract with Lowe’s Home Centers, LLC, for procurement fulfillment of Maintenance, Repair,
and Operations (MRO) Supplies and Related Services for the City of Denton, in a five (5) year not-to-
exceed amount of $1,000,000.

ESTIMATED SCHEDULE OF PROJECT
This is a five (5) year contract. This Omnia contract expires on March 31, 2024.
FISCAL INFORMATION
These items will be funded through the using department’s budget on an as-needed basis. The spend for the
fiscal year 2022 was $160,637. The City will only pay for services rendered and is not obligated to pay the
full contract amount unless needed.
