Thank you for the opportunity to assist the City of Denton with the 10/1/2023-2024 Aviation
Ground Operations Liability Insurance policy renewal.
Last year AIG provided the best pricing and terms and conditions for the exposure and have done
so again this year; however, with a slight premium increase primarily driven by market conditions
and increased exposure.
Lockton approached four (4) insurance carriers to obtain options to present to the City – AIG,
Global Aerospace, Old Republic, and CV Starr. Of these markets, only AIG offered to quote. AIG was
able to offer the same enhanced coverage terms and conditions they did last year. The other three
markets declined to quote this year either due to their minimum premium being above AIG’s
renewal premium or the open claim from 2022 under Global’s program. Lockton recommends that
Denton renew its Aviation Liability Insurance with AIG for the 10/1/2023-2024 policy term.
