Pacheco Koch Supplemental Agreement 1-6109-AmendmentSUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT No. 1
WHEREAS, the City of Denton (CITY) and Pacheco Koch, LLC (CONSULTANT) made
and entered into Contract # 6109 (AGREEMENT); and
WHEREAS, the AGREEMENT involves Consulting services for the design of pavement
improvements in connection with the Central Fire Parking Lot (PROJECT); and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to said
AGREEMENT to include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, CITY and CONSULTANT, acting herein by and through their duly
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the
AGREEMENT;
1.
Article 2 of the general conditions of the AGREEMENT is amended to include the
additional Consulting services as specified in Exhibit A, copies of which are attached
hereto and incorporated herein.
2.
Section 2 of the AGREEMENT is amended to provide for an increase amount of
$6,000.00 as specified in Exhibit B, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated
herein, for a total maximum fee to be paid to CONSULTANT for all work and services
performed in the AGREEMENT, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the CITY for
all work and services shall not exceed the sum of $70,750.00.
3.
All other provisions of the AGREEMENT which are not expressly amended herein shall
remain in full force and effect.

This Supplemental Agreement No. 1 is made on the 2nd day of August, 2016.
The undersigned officers and/or agents of the parties hereto are the properly authorized
officials and have the necessary authority to execute this Supplemental Agreement No.
1 on behalf of the parties hereto, and each party hereby certifies to the other that any
necessary resolution extending said authority have been duly passed and are now in
effect.

EXHIBIT 'A' — ADDITIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES
CENTRAL FIRE PARKING LOT
The additional services are preparation of a Minor Plat of the property, as'shown
on Attachment A.
These services are as follows:
MINOR PLAT: Pacheco Koch will prepare a Minor Plat for the project based
on a Boundary Survey of the site performed by the firm. This plat will show
easements, dedications, and other information required by the City.
Included in this item:
■ Coordination of city review and approval of this plat and attendance at
city staff, Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council meetings
as normally required.
• Monumentation of the perimeter boundaries of the site.
Not included in this item:
■ Any special monumentation requirements by the City, including block
corners, interior lot corners, or floodplain corners.
• Civil Engineering Services and/or plans.

COMPENSATION:
We propose that the fee for our current contract be increased $6,000.00 to cover
personnel expenses involved in these changes. Terms and conditions shall be the same
as per our original agreement.
