1. 18” DIAMETER Pile Float Collar- What is the application of this
collar, the technical specifications of this product (stability,
buoyancy, etc).
The Float Collars are for the two corners in the water (Exhibit
#6258-4), so they can go up and down with the water surface level.
We may install pile at the center of the float collar.
2. What is the time frame for this project?
The time frame upon notification of the approval of this purchase
by City of Denton, will preferably be within an 8 week time frame.
3. RFP is specifying the products be Stainless Steel. However, per
product specifications from various vendors, these are “Hot Deep
Galvanized”. Is that a problem?
We are asking for stainless steel material for all components
including the Float Collar.
4. 18” x 30” Buoys w/ 1” Stainless Steel Pipe through the middle: What
is the minimum thickness for “Heavy Wall” for your protection?
The minimum thickness for Heavy Wall is 5 mm.
