6379 - Steel Refuse Collection Containers, 3.Statement of Work/ SpecificationsEXHIBIT 3 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS The technical specifications shall be finalized upon the selection of the Firm. The proposal submission shall have accurately described your understanding of the objectives and scope of the requested products and services and provided an outline of your process to implement the requirements of the scope of work and/or technical specification below. It is anticipated that the scope proposal submission will include, at a minimum, the following: FRONT LOAD SPECIFICATIONS Proposers must state make and model number of the unit they are offering. Proposals submitted shall be on the latest current model of equipment meeting specifications and shall conform to the latest American National Standards Z 245.1 – 1975 safety requirements for refuse collection and compaction equipment. All containers and related equipment are to be cleaned of all weld splatter and slag, oil and excessive rust. Interior and exterior to be primed with (1) coat of High Solid Alkyd Rust inhibitive Primer, or equal. Exterior to be painted with one (1) coat of H-I-S PAINT Alkyd Industrial Enamel. Emsco Green Code #90D32 or Dark Container Green 91D377-5. or equal). Recycle containers to be to be primed and painted the same with the exception of color, use Safety Blue, or equal. If Purchase Order does not specify color, color should be Emsco Green or Dark Container Green or Safety Blue or equal. All sharp edges should be ground to prevent injury, welds should be smooth with no welding wire visible, and all seams and joints must be fitted correctly. All containers shall have a metal plate attached to the item listing model #, serial #, manufacturer and date of manufacturing. All equipment shall be marked for safety in operation according to American National Standard Specification and other regulations as applicable. All items must be new and unused.
