Line Item Proposal For Circuit Breaker Monitoring
Dear Mr. Sears:
As requested, please find the following proposal to have Powell Circuit Breaker Monitoring
added to existing contract 5629 between City of Denton and Powell for future new MV
Switchgear Buildings:
Powell Power Automation Circuit Breaker Monitoring (CBM)
Supply and Factory Installation of Powell Power Automation Circuit Breaker Monitoring
(CBM) on each future City of Denton Switchgear Substation Building which consists of
(6) Vertical Sections of Circuit Breaker Switchgear and their Circuit Breakers, as well as
CBM for the (1) additional spare Circuit Breaker included with each substation building
Net Price per each Substation Switchgear Building......................................$5,950.00
The above offer includes the following components per each substation building:
(7) Circuit Breaker Mounted Main CBM Processing Units (includes a processing unit
for the spare circuit breaker)
(7) Circuit Breaker Mounted Hall Effect Sensors (includes a hall effect sensor for the
spare circuit breaker)
(6) Switchgear Door Mounted IRIM-RS485 IR Communications Modules
(6) Switchgear Door Mounted EIM Health Indicators

The above Net Price is based on a unitary price of $900.00 per each of the (6) Switchgear Door/
Circuit Breaker units, and $550.00 for the Circuit Breaker Mounted components only on the
spare circuit breaker.
Please note the above pricing is only applicable for future projects where all of the CBM
components will be installed at Powell's factory during the fabrication and assembly of the
Switchgear & Circuit Breakers. For integration of CBM into existing Substation Switchgear
Buildings in the field, we will honor the above component pricing, however, the technical field
service required for site installation will be quoted separately by Powell Service Division.
