Supply of LIGHT DUTY VEHICLES

The technical specifications shall be finalized upon the selection of the supplier. The respondent’s
submission shall have accurately described your understanding of the objectives and requirements of
the requested products and services.
The City of Denton is accepting bids for an annual contract for supply of light duty vehicles. Items
listed on Exhibit 1 – Pricing Sheet include estimated annual quantities. Purchases will be on-going
as needed throughout the year.
Section A
Vehicles offered shall be current year model, white in color, consist of Chevrolet standard factory
configuration with the following included items. These below items shall be included in the
vehicle base price if non-standard.
Power Windows
Power Locks
Power Steering
3 Sets of Keys to include remote FOB
Automatic Transmission
Air Conditioning
Tilt Steering Wheel
AM/FM Stereo
Hand-Free Calling (Bluetooth)
Items listed on the Options Pricing tab of the pricing sheet (Exhibit 1) request pricing for alternate
options. The City may choose to add any of these items to a corresponding base vehicle.
Section B – Required Additional Services
Services listed in this section are required by the City of Denton. The City’s preference is for these
services to be included with the Base Pricing. Please indicate if these items are included in the
base price (YES OR NO). If services are included in base price, please indicate YES, and enter
ZERO in price column. If NO, indicate so, and include this cost in the Additional Price column.
If these services cannot be provided by the bidder or a 3rd party provider, the City may deem the
bid as non-responsive.

If these services are offered, not included in base price, and pricing is not provided, an estimated
value of $1,885.00 will be added to the offer for evaluation purposes.
The total calculation from this section will be added to the base vehicle cost in Section A.
Year Models
Prices offered must be for the current year model. At the time of renewal, contractor must provide
an updated base pricing sheet for the current model year by August 30th. The City may opt to
purchase previous year models when available and pricing will be negotiated.
