6383 - Laboratory Services for Waste Water Utilities, Addendum 1 Notice Materials Management Department 901-B Texas Street Denton, Texas 76209 ADDENDUM #1 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP 6383 The City of Denton is seeking the best value solution for the: Laboratory Services for Waste Water Utilities NIGP CLASS and ITEM 962 22 Issue Date: May 26th, 2017 Response due Date and Time (Central Time): Thursday, June 20, 2017, 11:00 A.M. C.D.T The City highly recommends that respondents do not wait until minutes before the due date and time to email a submission. It can take significant time for the submissions to reach the City. RFP 6383 ADDENDUM 1 1 1. What is the correct time for the Pre-bid Conference meeting at 901 B Texas St, Denton TX 76209 on June 9, 2017? The correct time for the Pre-Bid Conference was 9:30 a.m. It was published incorrectly in the main document of the RFP (6383-0, Main Document). 2. Contract Term, page 4, item #6 of 6383 Main Document. Contract term will be a period of one year with four (4) renewals for a total of five (5) years. 3. Laboratory pricing is by category not individual test. How should this be reflected on the pricing sheet? Unfortunately, there isn’t one specific list for each method. The list of analytes will vary depending upon sample site and wastestreams. I can offer some specific lists, but it may be easier just to do it as each analyte separately. For instance, the list we need for BNAs for industries is different than the BNA list for plant sampling. Also, the metal finishing category allows for analyzing only for those pollutants that are expected to be present at a specific facility. Therefore the list of requested analytes may be different for each metal-finishing industry we sample. To further complicate things, there are a few categories that only regulate a handful of pollutants from one or more test methods. Basically, Please price the tests, the best way for your company. 4. Pick up Charges and Emergency Pick up Charges There is no spot for these charges. Will there be a Excel pricing sheet modification? Yes, please see attached Exhibit 1- Addendum 5. Can we get a copy of the Pre Bid Meeting sign in Sheet? Yes, please see attached.
