1. On IFB#6551, Exhibit 3, #34 Decomposed Granite:
Additional Specifications:
Crushed granite rock screenings graded from 3/8-inch particles to dusty. Must be
uniform in color and texture.
2. On IFB#6551, Exhibit 3, #35 Engineered Wood Fiber Playground Surfacing:
Additional Specifications:
IPEMA Certified to ASTM F1292 Crushed wood fiber comprised of
softwoods/hardwoods. Does no exceed 4 inches in length and are approximately
ten times longer than wide. Must be from virgin wood source and must prove to
be non-toxic free of twigs, leaf debris and other organic material
3. On IFB#6551, Exhibit 1, #40 3 Cu. Ft of Cypress Mulch, NO Float
approximately 2000 bags.
This item has been removed from the Invitation for Bids, as it was recently
advertised on another Invitation for Bid.
4. Question from Potential Vendor:
For the material that is most likely to come from your Recycling Facility, do
you just want to reference the hauling contract we have with the city for
those items? I.e. Compost, Dino Dirt, Mulch
This Invitation for Bid, is for new items from your sources and manufacturers. If
any purchases are to be acquired from our Beneficial Reuse, the departments will
utilize their personnel and equipment.
