Engineering Design Services to Improve Various City Parking Lots
A: INTRODUCTION
In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter 2254, the City of Denton (City), a home-rule city of the State of Texas, is requesting submissions to select a firm
with demonstrated experience in providing Engineering design services to repair, refurbish or replace various City of Denton parking lots. The responses shall be submitted to the City
of Denton in a sealed submission.
The awarded firm shall have the ability to accomplish all aspects of the requested services.
B: SCOPE OF WORK
Description of Project
The contract will include the research necessary and the preparation of required documentation from preliminary inspection through the improvement of specific City of Denton parking
lots listed below and any possible future parking lots for the contract term.
Basic services for each lot include;
the development of the complete project scope and time-line
preliminary engineering and environmental assessment
engineering design
preparation of project parking lot plans
specifications, and contract bid documents
application for and receive all required permits
attending project status, pre-bid, and preconstruction meetings
contract administration and close-out;
providing sealed project “As-Built” drawings upon completion of each lot
Location of the targeted parking lots;

2. 901 Texas St (3 areas of the parking lot)
3. 321 E. McKinney St.
4. 1001 Parvin St.
5. 2001 W. Windsor (Baseball & Soccer Complex Section 1)
