HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-357ORDINANCE NO JL— 2J� / AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS ACCEPTING AN OFFER FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE OWNED BY THE CITY OF DENTON, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE (FILE 2417 — SALE OF LAND 0 161 ACRES WELL SITE NO 5 AWARDED TO TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN THE AMOUNT OF $300) WHEREAS, the City of Denton, in accordance with the requirements of TEX LOC GOV'T CODE ANN CHAPTER 272 001 (VERNON 1988), has offered the sale of a certain tract of real property located on Sherman Drive and described as Well Site No 5 WHEREAS, the City Manager having recommended to the City Council that the said sale of land be approved, and WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 12 04 of the City Chapter, the Council hereby finds that the property described above is not essential to continued effective utility service, NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS SECTION 1.
