AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS ACCEPTING AN OFFER FOR THE
SALE OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE OWNED BY THE CITY OF DENTON, AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE (FILE 2417 — SALE OF LAND 0 161 ACRES
WELL SITE NO 5 AWARDED TO TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN THE AMOUNT
OF $300)
WHEREAS, the City of Denton, in accordance with the requirements of
TEX LOC GOV'T CODE ANN CHAPTER 272 001 (VERNON 1988), has offered the
sale of a certain tract of real property located on Sherman Drive and described as Well
Site No 5
WHEREAS, the City Manager having recommended to the City Council that the
said sale of land be approved, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 12 04 of the City Chapter, the Council
hereby finds that the property described above is not essential to continued effective
utility service, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas accepts the
offer of Trinity Presbyterian Church, providing for the sale of real property described in
the offer, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference
herein
SECTION II The City Council hereby authorized the City Manager to execute
any and all comments necessary to consummate the sale of real property in accordance
with the offer
SECTION III That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and approval /J ,{�

tract deeded to the City of Denton, Texas on August 14, 1939 by Norman
Turner, st al and recorded in Volume 278. Page 132 Deed Records of Denton
County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows:
