Home My WebLink About1996-260ORDINANCE NO 1?k ®7(00 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CHANGE ORDER TO A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF DENTON AND, M.D HENRY C MPANY—INC PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN THE PURCHASE ORDER PRICE, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, on 8-20-96, the City awarded a contract for_PO# 6'7053 - JIM-CHRISTAL ELECTRIC SiIBSTATION PACK ACT in the amount of %181,338.00, and WHEREAS, the City Manager having recommended to the Council that a change order be authorized to amend such purchase order with respect to the scope and price and said change order being in compliance with the requirements of Chapter 252 of the Local Government Code, NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS SECTION T. That the change order increasing the amount of the purchase order between the City and M D HENRY COMPANY INC copy of which is attached hereto, in the amount of SEVENTEENTHOUSAND_SF.VF.N HUNDRED TWENTY_SIX_-and_-io/100--- Dollars ($U,726.00), is hereby approved and the expenditure of funds therefor is hereby authorized The purchase order amount is amended to read $199,064 00 SECTION II.
