Home My WebLink About1987-2170923L NO'�c/ Z AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CHANGE ORDER TO A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF DENTON AND TONTO CONSTRUCTION, INC , AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, on February 17, 1987, the City awarded a contract for the construction of certain improvements to the Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Phase II, Bid No 9657, and WHEREAS, the City Manager having recommended to the Council that a change order be authorized to amend such contract and said change order being in compliance with the requirements of art 2368a, V A C S , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON SECTION I That the change order to the contract between the City and Tonto Construction, Inc in the amount of Twenty-nine Thousand Eight Hundred and Two Dollars and Fourteen Cents ($29,802 14) is hereby approved and the expenditure of funds therefor is hereby authorized SECTION II That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of December, 1987 ATTEST IN W ^ APPROVED AS TO LEGAL FORM DEBRA ADAMI DRAYOVITCH, CITY ATTORNEY �l�1111 �Z ,, 1 i /L_!
