HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-1982061L M 0 z � AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE SALE AS DESCRIBED HEREIN, RESERVING AND UTILITIES, AUTHORIZING THE DOCUMENTS TRANSFERRING TITLE, AND OF 0 031 ACRES OF REAL PROPERTY AN EASEMENT THEREIN FOR STREETS MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City of Denton is the owner of real property as described herein, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it would be in the best interest of the City to dispose of the property, reserving an easement therein for streets and utilities, and WHEREAS, the City Council in accordance with the provisions of Article 5421c-12 V T C S has determined that the property is of a size as to be incapable of being used independently as zoned, and may be sold to the abutting property owners, and WHEREAS, in accordance with offered to sale the property to for not less than its fair market state law, the City Council has the abutting owners in an amount value, and WHEREAS, the abutting property offer to purchase the property for THEREFORE, owners have accepted the City's the amount stated herein, NOW, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS SECTION I That the 0 031 acres of land described in Exhibit "A" at ac a —hereto and incorporated herein by reference, shall be sold to the abutting property owner in consideration of the sum of Six Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-four Dollars and Fifty- ei.ght Cents ($6,854 58), reserving and excepting therein to the City of Denton an easement over, n and across the property described for street and utility purposes SECTION II That upon receipt by the City of the amount state a ove, the Mayor is authorized to execute a general warranty deed conveying title to the described property to the grantee, save and except an easement as
