AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE ON THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH
PUBLIC HEARING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS

in the Clty ouncil Chamber the Building, —the City
Council of the City of Denton, Texas will hold a public hearing
giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard
on the proposed annexation by the City of Denton, Texas of the
property described below
On the ' C'ity day of 1983, at 7 00 o'clock
P M in the Council Chadber ot the Municipal Building of
the City of Denton, Texas, the City Council will hold a public
hearing giving all interested persons the right to appear and be
heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Denton, Texas of
the following described property, to -wit
All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in the County of Denton, State of Texas, and being part
of the M. Forrest Survey, Abstract No 417 and being more par-
ticularly described as follows
BEGINNING at a point in the present city limits as established
by Ordinances No 65-45 Tract I, said point lying in the West
boundary line of the M Forrest Survey, Abstract No 417 and 250
feet North of and perpendicuular to the center line of F M 426
(McKinney St ),
THENCE Easterly 250 feet North of and parallel to the centerline
of F M 426 (McKinney Street) the following courses and
distances, (1) South 77124' East 498 72 feet to the beginning of
a curve to the right, (2) Easterly 865 29 Feet along said curve
to the right with a radius 11711 16 feet, central angle 4011,
and a chord of South 75110' East, 501 56 feet, (4) South 70037'
East, 41Q 0 feet (5) South 67029' East 368 66 feet, (6) South
63054" East, 367 95 feet to a point for a corner in the West
boundary line of a tract of land as described in Volume 1200
page 4621exhibit "B" of the deed records of Denton County, Texas,
THENCE North 0*12' West along the West boundary line of said
tract a distance of 2579 08 feet to the Northwest corner of said
tract, said point lying in the South boundary line of a county
road ,
THENCE North 89117' East along the North boundary line of said
tract, same being the South boundary line of said county road, a
distancelof 1444 17 feet to a point for a corner,
THENCE South 0005' West a distance of 2255 94 feet to a point
for a corner,
THENCE Weist a distance of 15 feet to a point for a corner,

THENCE South 0105' West a distance of 1724 77 feet to a point
for a corner, said point lying 250 feet South of and perpen-
dicular to the centerline of F M 426 (McKinney Street),
THENCE westerly 250 feet South of and parallel to the centerline
of N M 426 (McKinney Street) the following courses and
distances, (1) North 53*43' West 444 06 feet to the beginning of
a curve to the left, (2) westerly 343 78 feet, central angle of
9*39' and a chord of North 58032130" West, 407 02 feet, (5)
North 67*29' West 339 34 feet, (6) North 70037' West, 393 20
feet, (7) North 73010' West 490 44 feet to the beginning of a
curve to the left, (8) westerly 828 34 feet along said curve to
the left with a radius of 11211 16 feet, central angle of 4014'
and a chord of North 75017' West 828 15 feet, (9) North 77024'
West 402 88 feet to a point for a corner in the West boundary
line of the said M Forrest survey,
THENCE North along the West boundary line of said survey 509 10
feet to the place of beginning and containing 150 5 acres of
land more or less
SECTION II
The Mayor of the City of Denton, Texas, is hereby authorized
and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be
published once in a newspaper having general circulation in the
City and in the above described territory not more than forty
days nor less than twenty days prior to the date of such public
hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act
(Acticle 970a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes)

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON CONTEMPLATED ANNEXATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS THAT
The City of Denton, Texas, proposes to institute annexation pro-
ceedings to alter the boundary limits of said City to add the
following described territory to the corporate limits of the City of
Denton, to -wit
All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in
the County of Denton, State of Texas, and being part of the M
Forrest Survey, Abstract No 417 and being more par- ticularly
described as follows
BEGINNING at a point in the present city limits as established by
Ordinances No 65-45 Tract I, said point lying in the West boundary
line of the M Forrest Survey, Abstract No 417 and 250 feet North
of and perpendicuular to the center line of F M 426 (McKinney St ),
THENCE hasterly 250 feet North of and parallel to the centerline of

a point for a corner in the West boundary line of a tract of land as

A Public Hearing will be held by and before th City Council of
