AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE, APPENDIX B, ARTICLE
13E, SUBSECTION (2)(h) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCFS OF THE CITY OF
DENTON, TEXAS, PROVIDING MINIMUM FRONT YARD SETBACK REGULATIONS
FOR GASOLINE SERVICE STATION PUMP ISLANDS AND CANOPIES AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That Appendix B, Article 13E, Subsection (2)(h) of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas is hereby amended so
that the same shall hereafter read as follows
APPENDIX B, ARTICLE 13E(2)
(h) Gasoline service station pump islands shall not be
located nearer than eighteen (18) feet to the front property
line Pump island canopies may extend to within ten (10) feet
of the front property line provided such canopies are not
enclosed and remain unobstructed from the ground to the roof of
such canopies
SECTION II
This ordinance shall become effective from and after its
date of passage and approval
