HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-022NO 7 10 - .)-q, AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ACCEPTING THE WORK OF IMPROVING CERTAIN DESIGNATED STREETS IN THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS, THAT Ordinance No 75-46 , ordering the improvements of the hereinafter named streets and levying the assessments was pass- ed on the 4th day of November , 1975 A D , and the work of improving the streets described on Exhibit A, which is made a part hereof and attached hereto, has been completed, the Director of Community Development of the City of Denton having measured, examined and caused to be tested the finished improvements by the means and in the manner provided by the terms of such contract and of plans and specifications therein contained, and the Director of Community Development having found that such improvements have been constructed and completed in full compliance with the terms of said contract and the plans and specifications therein contained, and having approved and accepted said improvements, and having recommended that the City Council accept said work and improvements, it is, accordingly, ordered that said work and improvements have been found by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Denton to have been per- formed and completed in full compliance with the terms of the said contract and plans and specifications, and the same is now hereby accepted and approved by the City of Denton, Texas PASSED AND APPROVED this 4th day of May ,A D 19 76 CITY OF MAYOR ATTEST B HOLT, CITY SECRE ARY C TY OF DENTON, TEXAS APPROVED AS TO LEGAL FORM PAUL C ISHAM CITY ATTORNEY CITY OF DENM , TEXAS I I 'I I I I CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE I I I, Jimmie J Jones, Director of Community Development of the (City of Denton, Texas, do hereby certify to the Honorable City (Council of said City that the work of improving the following 'Istreets and portions thereof in the City of Denton, Texas, has lbeen completed by Jagoe Public Company in accordance with the terms �Ilof a contract entered into by and between the City of Denton, Texas, ;land the said Jagoe Public Company dated November 4, 1975, and in ,accordance with the terms of Ordinance No 75-46 passed and !!approved on the 4th day of November, A D 1975, ordering such im- !Ilprovements, and that such improvements have been constructed and completed in full compliance with the terms of such contract, and lwith the plans and specifications therein contained or referred to, and I do hereby recommend that the Honorable City Council jaecept and receive said work and improvements as constructed by 1� �Ithe said Jagoe Public Company, the said streets and portions 1thereof being as follows, to -wit STREET JUNIT NO 11 FROM TO 111 Oakwood Mercedes End of Street 12 Avenue D I-35E Underwood 1l3 Greenlee Avenue C Knight 1i 1i,4 Greenlee Avenue A Neff I 115 Lindsey Fort Worth Drive I-35E 116 Bernard Roselawn I-35E 117 Bernard Greenlee I-35E i Respectfully submitted this the 4th day of May, A D 1976 I
