SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF DENTON~ TEX~S, BY ORDINANCE NO 6~-~ ~ND ~S S~D ~P ~PPL~ES TO
LOTS 6~ 7~ & ~ BLO~ ~ OF ~HE SP~NG VALLEY ~DD~T~ON TO ~HE ~TY OF
DENTON, ~XAS~ ~S SHO~ ~H~S DA~E ON ~HE OF~L TAX ~P OF ~HE ~TY
OF DENT~N, TE~S, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLAR-
ING AN ~FFECTI~ DATE
THE CO~CIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON~ TE~S, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zonlng Map of the Clty of Denton, Texas, adopted January
14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the C~ty of Denton,
Texas, under provisions of Ordinance 69-1, be, and the same ~s hereby
amended as follows
All the herelnafter described property ls hereby removed from the
"SF-7" Single Famlly Dlstrlot as shown on said Zoning Map, and all pro-
visions of Ordlnance No 69-1, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as
amended, shall hereafter apply to said property as "O" Office Dlstr~ct
in the same manner as other property located ~n the "O" Off~ce D~str~ct,
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being
s~tuated in the City and County of Denton, State of Texas, and
being Lots 6, 7 & 8, Block C of the Spr~ng Valley Addition to
the Clty of Denton, Texas, and being further described as be-
lng located north of Hlghway 380 near a point of lntersect~on
of Loop 288 and H~ghway 380
SECTION II
~at the City Councll of the Clty of Denton, Texas, hereby f~nds
that suoh change ~s ~n accordance w~th a comprehensive plan for the pur-
pose of promotlng the general welfare of the Clty of Denton, Texas, and
wlth reasonable cons~deratlon, among other th~ngs for the character of
the dlstrict and for ~ts peculiar suitability or particular uses, and
wlth a v~ew to conservlng the value of the buildings, protecting human
l~ves, and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the max~-
m~ beneflt to the Clty of Denton and ~ts c~t~zens
SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be ~n full force and effect ~ed~ately
after its passage and approval, the required public hearlnqs having
heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning Co~ss~on and the C~ty
Co~c~l of the C~ty of Denton, Texas, after g~v~ng due not~ce thereof
PASSED and APPROVED th~s the 28th day of September, A D 1971
